If you do and live in the 315 or 607 area code of New York State, call Salvage Management at 315-699-2622 and mention that you would like to donate your vehicle to benefit Canine Working Companions, Inc.. They will arrange to pick up your vehicle.

For people who can't use the Salvage Management number for whatever reason, the donation can be done online. They handle donations all over the United States!

What can I donate?
Cars, trucks, motorcycles, vans, commercial vehicles, jet skies, snowmobiles, motor homes, buses, and even boats. It doesn't have to run - it just has to have 4 inflated tires and a clear title.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Your donation is tax-deductible because CWC is a 50l (c) (3) non-profit organization. Your tax letter will include the "Blue Book" value listed for your vehicle. Since each case is different, it is best to consult your tax advisor for details.

My car hasn't run in years! Can I still donate it?
It still has salvage value and valuable to CWC.

Is there any cost to me?
No, Salvage Management handles the towing of your vehicle.

How much money does CWC receive from my donated vehicle?
CWC will receive a minimum of $25 on every vehicle donated or 80% of what the vehicle sells for at auction, whichever is greater.

I live in a small town, can I still arrange for my vehicle to be picked up?
Salvage Management will only pick up vehicles within the 315 and 607 area codes of New York State. If you live outside those area codes, please refer to the other donation line on this website or call the Administration Office at (315) 656-3301 for more information.
